PROGRAM FEATURES

Convenient Schedules
Classes meet one evening per week for four hours from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Classes meet the same night for the duration of the degree program. Students should anticipate investing approximately 15-20 hours weekly outside of the classroom in preparation for class, including the study group meeting.

Study Groups
Study Groups are an integral part of the Aquinas PRIMETIME educational model. Each group, comprised of three to five individuals, is required to meet weekly outside of class for four hours. This time is used to prepare for the upcoming class session and/or to focus on a particular group assignment that is incorporated into the final grade. The skills learned in study group – such as how to combine and share talents, experience, and learning resources – can provide students with the competitive edge needed to achieve their educational, personal, and professional goals.

Class Size
Enrollment is limited to career-minded, committed professionals with full-time work experience. Cohort groups of 15-22 students meet as a unit for the duration of the degree program.

Faculty
Classes are taught by experienced professionals with advanced degrees, on-the-job experience, and a demonstrated ability to teach. Faculty are expected to become familiar with adult learning strategies and to incorporate learning in the classroom with the application of theory to real-world experience.

Registration
Registration occurs just once at the beginning of the degree program for all classes. Once registered, all courses must be taken in sequential order according to the curriculum outline.

Full-Time Status
Students enrolled in Aquinas PRIMETIME programs are considered to be full-time and may be eligible for some form of financial aid.
